Manta rays in the blue.

12” x 12” This Manta ray piece has been painted on a natural 1.5" deep wooden art panel and comes with a brass fixing attached, ready to hang.

I have created this piece layer by layer, with paint and then resin day after day, which gives a glassy, complex and gorgeous depth of colour.

Unique and one of a kind, this multiple layered piece has been created using high quality paint, resin & pigments.

The Manta rays have been hand painted on to three different levels of blue resin, adding to the depth of the water.

NB: The resin I use is made from materials that would otherwise enter landfill (as it's a by-product of the oil industry). So, I can create beautiful pieces whilst preventing waste and looking after the planet.

Please also note that the colour may differ slightly from the images shown here, due to individual PC screens. (the high gloss on resin makes it very difficult to photograph).

Little imperfections, such as swirls, tiny bubbles and bumps may also be present on the surface due to the sensitive property of the resin used.
