Honey Bee paper sculpture.
£25.00
This little paper Honey Bee is a sign of Spring and Summer to come!
Unique and one of a kind.
She is framed in a dinky, natural wood frame and has a description of the honey bee in Latin with the translation inside.
The little honey bee even has a bright spot of cargo on her back legs.
They are pollen baskets or corbiculae... As a honey bee brushes herself, she draws the pollen toward her hind legs into those little pockets.
Look closely and you will discover that my little bee sculpture has not been painted at all, but finished with a ’skin’ of coloured papers.
These small pieces of colour have been gleaned from many magazines and make each of my pieces unique.
The little box frame is just 12.5cm square x 3.3cm deep and has a hanger on the back, or can just sit happily on it's base.
