I have layered my painting of daisies on top of torn painted papers, then coated it with resin and added two honey bees.

My little bee sculptures have not been painted though, they have been finished with a ’skin’ of coloured papers as usual.
These small pieces of colour have been recycled from magazines and make each of my pieces unique.

The little canvas is just 11.5 cm wide x 16 cm high and 1 cm deep, sitting on it's own little wooden easel.

The little paper Honey Bees are transfixed by the daisies and will bee happy sitting on the little canvas throughout all seasons!

~The resin I use is made from materials that would otherwise enter landfill (as it's a by-product of the oil industry). So, I can create beautiful pieces whilst preventing waste and looking after the planet.

~ Humid conditions may adversely affect the gloss finish.
